With all that went on yesterday, and the media coverage of it, I think it is the only way forward now to protest against the club. As a bonus, you don't have to watch Everton.
This is precisely the solution.

I have sympathy with the sit-in protestors - they are trying to force change and are doing something about it - but even they are trying to have it both ways (get rid of the board but keep Moshiri's millions for fear of losing the stadium). They continue to turn up at Goodison - but doing so is futile. The only language Kenwright understands is financial. An empty stadium would make his position untenable. Forget all this self-serving talk of "but we support the team when we turn up". No, you're enjoying your matchday ritual. You need to sacrifice that if you really want to hurt the board. This team is a lost cause with this manager and this board. Accept that and stay away. That's the fastest way to change.

I don't think there's enough of the fan base who are willing to stop going. Even after the game, I don't think the stadium was anywhere near full, so as admirable as the protesters are, they are still in a minority.

If you're a season ticket holder then the club already has your money. Its not going to make the slightest bit of difference to the vermin that own/run the club if we chose to not attend and basically throw away our own coin.
They lose about 10,000 in non-season ticket gate receipts and other additional matchday revenue.

There isn't.

Evertonians are typically apathetic. They have accepted their place as the second club in the city. They have tried to put a "moral superiority" gloss on that, but they accept things the crowd over the road never would. It's why they remain one of the great clubs in the country and continent and we are headed for the second division.

I’m a ST and already renewed for next year but I won’t be going again. Not arsed about people who say support the team etc, Everton Football Club turned on its own fans yesterday and that I cannot abide. When that board is gone then I’ll go again, but until that day I’m done.

Stopped going a while ago, also cancelled my online membership with them and set their emails to junk mail as that is what they are. They don't reflect reality and are just a reminder of how far the club has fallen. Wont financially support them again until there are changes across the entire club from the top down.

This is a difficult one. If enough of us don't go, it may be a catalyst for change. Likewise, if enough of us go, what could it do for the players on the pitch?

Their mentality is fragile enough, and while some may say they did relatively well without crowds during the COVID, this would be a different kettle of fish.

Away fans would be galvanised, while those left would probably be sullen and dejected. It was the fans who pulled the club through last year, so without them?

It's making itself into a Catch 22 situation - neither side is right or wrong.

Nonsense. The imagery of half-empty Goodison would bring their entire regime into disrepute.

People want it both ways. Well, you can't have it.
They don't care what any of us think. It won't make any difference. We can all stay away as much as we want but it won't change a thing. The scum will continue to make their real money via tv and their mates in the media will say how much safer Goodison is now that all the "thugs" have stopped going.
