Will never gain widespread support, it's not an Everton thing to do

I think it's the best option, but it's not practical. The just support the club brigade would have a field day.

You can't just say what you think is the best option, it needs to be something that people will get behind - a boycott is not, rightly or wrongly.

This is a difficult one. If enough of us don't go, it may be a catalyst for change. Likewise, if enough of us go, what could it do for the players on the pitch?

Their mentality is fragile enough, and while some may say they did relatively well without crowds during the COVID, this would be a different kettle of fish.

Away fans would be galvanised, while those left would probably be sullen and dejected. It was the fans who pulled the club through last year, so without them?

It's making itself into a Catch 22 situation - neither side is right or wrong.
I think we are way beyond saving this time.

They don't care what any of us think. It won't make any difference. We can all stay away as much as we want but it won't change a thing. The scum will continue to make their real money via tv and their mates in the media will say how much safer Goodison is now that all the "thugs" have stopped going.
You talk of TV. That's the next step: give up your Sky Sports subscription.

People moan about change, but they keep funding the cancer at the heart of the club.

We will see how they feel next season mate when we’ve been deducted points and have the administrators in.

What is the point in not going?

My lack of attendance doesn’t impact the club. They’ve still taken my £550 for the season.

The only benefit it could be is that we’re toxic at the moment and we might win a game. It won’t impact the board.

I don't have a sky subscription and haven't had one for years mate. I'd give it up tomorrow if I did though.

So, just the season ticket to go, so.

Look, I am not here to berate you. I just feel that if people really want dramatic change, they are going to need to make dramatic changes in their own relationship with the club. And, to be frank, there are not enough people in the fanbase who will do that, so all of this is most likely moot.

In the meantime, I think we fans need to treat each other with respect, whether we go to the match or not.

There isn't.

Evertonians are typically apathetic. They have accepted their place as the second club in the city. They have tried to put a "moral superiority" gloss on that, but they accept things the crowd over the road never would. It's why they remain one of the great clubs in the country and continent and we are headed for the second division.

Sadly true.

“Kopite Behaviour” - was lauded at them regularly, yet they’ve done things we could only dream of.

Fought with the club over Hicks & Gillette, Battled over ticket prices and the ESL, amongst other things.

They’re run well, and they’re unhappy, because they want to be the best.

Our expectations nowadays are that we just want to be invited to the party, and we’re in a significantly worse position.

Too much opposition to the fight against the board for too many years.

The board did a no show yesterday and I imagine they are not looking forward to attending the next one . This is a good idea but won’t get enough support to make it happen . To be effective ground would need to empty .

Imagine visions of Everton protesters outside the gates scrapping those who what to cross the lines to watch the games.
