Yak all day long. Maybe we have to wait and see how Straqs goalscoring record is all round, but the Yak was a beast in his hold up play and finishing. Let's see when next we have a striker that puts in 20+ in one season.

I absolutely love Straq and how his workrate and I'm always really happy when he puts it in (just like I was with Yak to see the dove of love / smile of the yak), but in terms of quality, I'd have to say the Yak.

Yaks a mercenary who throws his toys out of the pram but on his day was a goal machine however that day was very very rare by the end. Straq is just a machine period his workrate filters through the team and gets everyone working harder the goals get shared around more.

In a vacuum in which you don't have to plan for the future or worry about money maybe Yak (but are we getting first season with a new team Yak or third season "meh" Yak?). If you have to consider the future and real world issues then surely Straq. I might even go for Straq in the first scenario in that while he may not be proven right now, his ability to work his socks off fits Moyes system better. Afterall we did better in the league with Bent than with Beattie or Yak (both of whom were better goalscorers but significantly worse in workrate).

Withrawal maybe.

Don't get me wrong, love the commitment shown by Straq, I hope he becomes half of what the Yak is, then he will be classed as a good striker, and I don't mean weight either.

I didn't mean to love him but he worked tirelessly to wear down my emotional defence and bustled his way into my heart.
