Both Yak's and Saha's attitude stank out the place for a long time, disgraceful.

This.

They both had talent, but preffered to sulk around a football pitch for 90minutes every Saturday, speaking as somebody who pays a LOT of money to watch these overpaid players perform, I demand they at least look as if they are trying.

Whilst its clear Straq isnt the best talent in the world, he more than makes it for it with effort and as shown by his performances, if your willing to put in a shift, the rewards will follow.

He leads the line perfectly, he does what is expected of a lone striker, he holds the ball up, he gets his team mates in the game, he puts the oppo defenders under constant pressure and he finds the net when he gets the chance.

Neither Yakubu or Saha could play the lone striker, but instead of adapting their games, they preffered to sulk and whine on twitter, I hated them both before they left and am glad that I will never see either in a blue shirt again.

Pretty much this.

a truly worrying result so far!!!

It's okay mate. Everyone knows running around a lot and crying when you score is ten times more important than actual footballing ability.

Don't get me wrong, I heart the Stracq, but he's never going to be a goal machine. Yakubu, when used correctly, can be. And currently is, for Blackburn sh*tting Rovers.

2008/09 14 games 4 goals
2009/10 25 games 5 goals
2010/11 14 games 1 goal

53 games 10 goals

PROPAH GOAL MACHINE

Yakubu scoring in 1st Season shocker.

That's a complete fallacy.

Yakubu had his best year with Maccabi Haifa in his third season, his best goals return for Pompey in his second season, his best goals per game record for Pompey in his third season and scored only 1 less league goal in his second season for Middlesbrough.
For us he got a career-threatening injury in his second season, which surely merits consideration.

But don't let the facts get in the way of your blind hatred.

The fact is that when Moyes put the Yak on the pitch then, one derby shoulder barge apart, his attitude stank the place week in, week out. He was so lazy he made Saha look interested which is no mean feat.
