I didn't mean to love him but he worked tirelessly to wear down my emotional defence and bustled his way into my heart.

Same here, like that ugly bird who keeps txting you all week and by sat night you're pissed and lonely and just want something to cuddle up to. We've not had a striker since Straq started, same situation. Or something.

I genuinely mean it when I say he's my new Amo. I loved Amokachi even as he side footed wide from a yard on his debut. I swore after rooney I would never become emotionally attached to a player but Straq has won my heart.

Haha, I too loved the Amo, if only for those two goals against the spuds in the FA cup semi final. Motson went ballistic on commentary if I remember. Scored some crackers for Nigeria, didn't go so well for us, but I remember the good times not the bad.

if straq is not scoring, he is still working his @rse off and making space and taking knocks for others. Yak never worked his @rse off, even when he was scoring goals. Having said that, there are not too many strikers I would swap for Yak in his first season....but then I would swap almost any striker for him for the seasons after that.

Anyway, doesn't matter, Yak has gone, still lazy as fcuk but scored a few goals...Straq has done well lately, we are winning again with him in the side, and that is all that matters

I had that god awful white tyre tread away kit
with Amokachi 11 on the back. I wore that shirt to every game and had to listen to people tell me how bad a player he was. Coming out of Elland road I got mobbed, cheered, picked up and had my back slapped til sore.
Just love Amo still.

I've still got that kit. I had Hinchcliffe on the back. Now he was decent.

Bluefox lad / LCAB or anyone else with a hotline or a grapevine to zee EFC players..

Can you pass the word on, to let Straq know the current poll result?

+ Keep up the hard work.

Oh and at least we're not Villa!

Danke schon.

The Yak is a player who if he's not the number 1 loved striker at the club he will sulk, if he feels loved you have a world class Goal scorer no question, when Saha became our Num 1 that was where we lost Yak as a player, if you manage him properly and make him feel loved then Straq couldn't lace his undies .... If they had laces mind due î￾—
