If you don’t think the nothingness of the Kenwright years are bad, you deserve the club we are.Merely pointing out they weren’t really all that dark a times were they.

Make our opinions known. Why should we accept this second rate club we have become?
The man who has held us back for years, Kenwright, is still sitting there influencing decisions and he’s safe as anything.
Our fanbase, bar a few, is pathetic. Claim to be a big club yet we’re sitting in a stadium like Goodison, 25 years into the Premier League, we’re still counting the pennies and we’re still no closer to winning a trophy.
For someone who’s here 8 days lol you seem to know the usual suspects very well
You may have let out on yourself there lad
If he thought he was the 'perfect player' then i'm pretty sure Levy would have backed him. The truth is he was probably just making a throwaway comment about Sigurdsson being a good player and didn't really mean that he would like to have him back. A bit like I doubt Martinez really thought Tom Cleverley was absolutely amazing, he just didn't expect people to take his comments literally.Because Spurs sold him just as Pochettino started.
Poch is on record as saying he would happily have had Gylfi in the squad. But the deal was already done.
Imagine Poch going to Levy 'yeh, you know that player you've already bought, then sold four months ago, well I want him back'?
My sentiments exactly...What do you suggest we all do then lad?

ah ok so he can just cross a ball and runs around a lot. That's clearly why someone like Mauricio Pochettino said that Gylfi Sigurdsson would had been a “perfect player” for him at Spurs. i'm sure the skills you mentioned are the reason a Manager that could would had wanted him.
lollol
The beauts thought they were getting dybala but getting the stocky hobbit instead.

Prefer Holgate and Upamecano myself...
How quick is Mina?
The only way to get experience is by playing...
Butt? Pip? Neville played a few games at centre back too...they also had a few young squad players...

Why didn’t Pochettino bid for him then?
No I wasn’t.We're counting the pennies because in the past 18 months we spent £200m on players to end up with Fat Sam as manager.
You were moaning this time last year when we'd spent all that money as well.
They sold him in 2014. If he wanted him that badly, why didn’t he go and buy him in 2016?
Here’s the answer: it’s because he wouldn’t get in their team.
