Make our opinions known. Why should we accept this second rate club we have become?

The man who has held us back for years, Kenwright, is still sitting there influencing decisions and he’s safe as anything.

Our fanbase, bar a few, is pathetic. Claim to be a big club yet we’re sitting in a stadium like Goodison, 25 years into the Premier League, we’re still counting the pennies and we’re still no closer to winning a trophy.

Mate what are you going to do, burn your bra?

You're like a whinging old tart from Botanic Road

Give your gob a rest for five minutes!!

For someone who’s here 8 days lol you seem to know the usual suspects very well
You may have let out on yourself there lad

Ive never once denied I was @Boss_Rarkley mate, I couldnt find how to change my username from my favourite player turned judas so closed my previous account and opened this one - Hence why I laugh at the kopite shouts - Im not a red, I wasnt banned and if you read my previous posts you'll see plenty of positivity on a wide range of EFC topics which goes against those with a school yard agenda.

As I've said mate if the club get their act together im more than happy to get behind the club but I've maintained my opinion that we are skint this summer and are sell to buy. We want Mina on loan, pulled out of Tierney over the £25 million price tag, no signings made along with only 2 other sides - doesn't take a genius to put 2+2 together at present.

Because Spurs sold him just as Pochettino started.

Poch is on record as saying he would happily have had Gylfi in the squad. But the deal was already done.

Imagine Poch going to Levy 'yeh, you know that player you've already bought, then sold four months ago, well I want him back'?
If he thought he was the 'perfect player' then i'm pretty sure Levy would have backed him. The truth is he was probably just making a throwaway comment about Sigurdsson being a good player and didn't really mean that he would like to have him back. A bit like I doubt Martinez really thought Tom Cleverley was absolutely amazing, he just didn't expect people to take his comments literally.

Maybe, probably likely, but I do think Poch would have probably really, really liked Gylfi.

He works hard. He covers a lot of ground and has quality in the final third and is good on the ball.

He's not as silky (or as good) as Eriksen, but you look at how much Poch has improved that lad.

I think he'll be a good fit under Silva.

ah ok so he can just cross a ball and runs around a lot. That's clearly why someone like Mauricio Pochettino said that Gylfi Sigurdsson would had been a “perfect player” for him at Spurs. i'm sure the skills you mentioned are the reason a Manager that could would had wanted him.

Why didn’t Pochettino bid for him then?

We're counting the pennies because in the past 18 months we spent £200m on players to end up with Fat Sam as manager.

You were moaning this time last year when we'd spent all that money as well.

Prefer Holgate and Upamecano myself...

How quick is Mina?

The only way to get experience is by playing...

Butt? Pip? Neville played a few games at centre back too...they also had a few young squad players...

Butt was no more than Keanes replacement when he got injured suspended , never a regular
Pip was his brothers replacement / rotation at FB
G Neville didn’t play at CB. for a few seasons even though that was his preferred position
All the other youngsters were bit part players that were eventually sold

They sold him in 2014. If he wanted him that badly, why didn’t he go and buy him in 2016?

Here’s the answer: it’s because he wouldn’t get in their team.

Because it's rare you sign a player you've sold four months previously.

By the time of the following windows, Spurs had improved and had Eriksen, Son, Lamela etc. They had other areas they wanted to strengthen (CB, FB).

Yes, because by 2016 Spurs were a top four side.

But if we only tried to sign players that could get in the teams above us, we'd end up with nobody. Because, guess what, they play for the teams above us...
