Of all the players we’ve been linked with so far, Digne/Tierney, Mina, and RLC strike me as being very classy, clever buys. 3 out of those 4, and another forward (be it striker or left mid), and I’d be delighted.

That's weird, I was sure he went to spurs before the world cup.

Seemed a bit of a beast against England too...could be interesting to have 2 Colombians in the side (him and mina)?

I quite like what I saw. Plays with an attitude, but we have Gana and Besić in similar mould. Don't think we need another.

Not absolutely great (nor recent) examples but Rangers and Celtic both made UEFA cup finals using a similar sort of strategy. Young up and comings just not ready for the big move to a leading side, players as described in the op and the clubs own youth players.

Nice, Monaco, Sevilla, most South American and Dutch teams....

I’m willing to give it a chance, be patient and see how it all pans out.
