I don't think the Mosh has said he is not giving Brands/Silva any money.

I do think it is possible he has said he is not giving Brands/Silva money while paying Williams, Mirallas and a couple of others to be worthless.

We have money if we cut the squad down. I don't think we need the incoming to cover transfer fees, we just need a bit less crap before we bring in new players.

We'll do better because we have a better manager who will actually use useful players like Lookman. Baines is average but last season we missed him and Coleman a chunk due to injury. If we start the season with the team against that Austrian crap it's automatically better than last season's team.

The only way we won't finish 8th again is if you think West Ham, Burnley, Leicester etc. are better than us.

I think we will finish 8th or better this season because I think we will sign a small number of players in key positions. If we don't then there is a real risk that we will finish lower because, yes, other teams will improve and they will be better than us.
