For 50m you could buy Croatia.

The issue is not so much the fee as it is we could have paid another club a mere extra 5 million onto a 25 million one to get a soon to be world class left back

Is he Leigh Griffiths brother-in-law Mikey? You have a strange fascination with Jocks, who let’s face it, are playing non-league standard.

If Richarlison arrives for say £40M (it'll never be £50M as quoted) then you can expect to see a biggish name leave - Pickford looks favourite to go. That'll cover that £40M and then some (£55M). Add Mori in at £9M and that'd be well over £20M profit made.

I;d say we'll see a negative net spend by the end of the window between -£5M to -£25M.
Roma, one of the biggest names in world football, operates on a negative net spend. And they have Monchi who’s known for his tradings and making money for the club. I don’t get why’s that a bad thing?

And I don’t believe we’ll sell Pickford. Who’s going to be interested? Chelsea? They will get Schmeichel.

Did I say it wouldn't be that way? I spent most of last summer on here arguing the need to be prudent.
I was just trying to address the discussion.

You weren't the only one questioning some of the signings and definitely not the only one questioning the offense when we didn't get a CF.

I didnt say it is bad. I'm just stating we will now be in austerity mode clawing cash back in and breaking even or even making a profit after the Koeman disaster.

Pretty much everyone above that I left in there, although some wouldn't be cheap and they might be close. I'm sure I missed one or two. Would you take any of those guys above over Richarlison?
