Pre season has shown that we are crying outfor 4-5 additions:

1x CB
1x LB
1x CM
1x LM
1x ST

Richarlison and Digne look to be 2x of those and if Mina comes the 3rd, but we definitely need some creativity in the middle (which I dont think Gyfi would provide).

Richarlison
Digne
Mina
Meyer (free)
Batshuyai (loan)

Pickford

Coleman Holgate Mina Digne

Gana Schnerderlin

Walcott Meyer Richarlison

Batshuyai

Come on Everton get a move on we are devoid of creativity, attacking threat and have a jarg defence.

I know we need a centre back , left back ect but to me I think we still need something different in midfield, we haven't got anybody to play with a bit of magic about them, all are midfielders get about the pitch ok but are so one dimensional and lacking in energy going forward its untrue .
We are to easy to close out of the game because of it.

In spite of the defeat, Marco Silva was satisfied with the pre-season tournament held by Everton in the Algarve. The Liverpool emblem coach said that this was a good opportunity to draw conclusions and also talked about the market, revealing the interest of the Toffees in Richarlison and Lucas Digne.

"It was very important this tournament, from there having changed the pre-season to play with teams of higher quality and increase the competition to draw conclusions. Already had, served to confirm, this is far from being our team. With the players that arrived from the World Cup and the changes we are going to make, it was important for us. We did some good things, especially today, in the first 35 minutes, "he told SportTv .

The Portuguese coach showed some dissatisfaction for not having any reinforcement for the next season.

"It is not the ideal scenario, it is not normal, after we have three weeks of pre-season, we have not signed a single player. We want to hit it, it's not easy. Practically we have to make two pre-times, sometimes it seems that the market in England is easy but it is not. Sometimes you have to spend very high values, some players have been elected since the beginning of the season. We lost one or the other to major clubs, but they have to get there, we need four or five players, "he shot.

Of those four or five, Richarlison and Lucas Digne are players wanted by Marco Silva.

"There are two possibilities, I will not hide. These are strong hypotheses. Richarlison is an excellent player and Digne is not by chance who is where [Barcelona] is. Hopefully, it's not easy. "

Honestly think we need 2 centre backs if Keane carries on looking rubbish. I think that might be priority above another striker. Tosun didn’t fill me with confidence tonight but he’s already proven he’s able to bag in the PL, and Richarlison can play up front too. Then Niasse as a 3rd option.

Jags is 36 and will inevitably pick up some injuries, which leaves us with Holgate and Keane (I’m not even counting Williams). Seriously worrying.

oh dear.

Just saw that, hope it’s not true, I read earlier that we had agreed £15m up front and he had spoken to silva and was happy to come
They have champions league isn’t it...shame that some players thinks that it’s more important than the actual league you’re playing in. French league is a joke especially compare to the premier league.

We needed two CBs the moment we offloaded funes mori.

Keane, Williams and Jagielka should all have been sold/deleted first. Then again, Mori has currency - the others don't. So we're stuck with the garbage. Tubby Williams and Tin Soldier Keane, what a threat we will be.
