Mina with a buy back clause I wouldn’t really want, would be open to a sell on fee , maybe 20% of any profit we make whenever he is sold for example. But don’t really like the fact they can call him back whenever they want. Sign him for 20m and if we sell him for 50m then they get 20% of the 30m profit sounds ok to me

I’m not a huge Lascelles fan or really any English CBs. Marco needs guys that are comfortable on the ball and needs at least one monster in the air unless we buy a CM like N’Zonzi. Holgate is decent on the ball, maybe Mina is our guy.

Attack? We created more chances that both LOSC and Porto and didn’t have Walcott, Lookman, or Gylfi. Imagine those with Richarlison AND Digne or even Jedi.

I’m a lot more concerned about having no new CBs from a D that gave up almost 60 goals last year.

Our backups managed to score, and hit the post 3 times against Lille, plus what should have been a red card handball, and against Porto nearly scored on a number of occasions. Theres a reason the likes of Dowell, Mirallas, and Sandro wont be starting in week 1, and despite that they still outshot Porto except for one moment of woeful defending by Keane and a shot that Pickford would have saved easily.

Our Available resources were already marshaled there in January

Hence the "more pressing need" yeah?

Point being, I doubt many consider Tosun, Niasse, Richarlison, DCL or Lookman to be the finished article, and I see very reason we'd want to keep all prospective options available until the picture becomes far more clear.

Tosun will provide at least 15+ goals this season, and that's just based on his performance in a woeful half season for us.
