Interesting reading Silvas comments about 4-5 players.

Not been linked with a CM since Bertolucci & Carvalho - I’m genuinely puzzled who we will get but suspect a grock to be linked soon.

Think there is enough variety up top for us to work with what we have.

LB & CB - Depending on what Digne & Mina decide, it’ll be interesting to see what are 2nd & 3rd choices may be. Tierney could be resurrected.

Does seem money is available - Silva may have to accept if a deal can’t be done we have to utilise what we have.

Hoping we get some good news the next few days.

Proof that there are players out there available for a good price. Even at 15m you would have said it's a good price.
Under Moyes we were one of the most shrewd in the business, now we're the complete opposite.
For some players were paying the 30-40% more then there worth, if there top quality you wouldn't mind, but there players none of the top 6 want and with no competition from other teams.
If Anderson thought the Barkley valuation was too low, he should look into why the transfer fees are for buying player is so high.

We were linked with Andre Gomes at Barca last week mate. Gone quiet again since, but he'd be the number 8 in our midfield if he were to sign.

Compare to Koemans signings and i think its safe to say given half a chance we would probably move every player on him and Walsh signed ( except for Pickford )and for Martinez I'd say Stones and Lukaku were his success stories.

I just hope Silva and Brands manage to get that blend and balance right snd that will foster the team spirit which is something thats been missing for a few years as there are no partnerships/relationships on the pitch ( like Jags/Lescott or Baines/Pienaar )

Yeah, I think Moyes can at least be proud of his Everton track record for signings. Stones was also a Moyes signing - so really Lukaku, Barry and Deulofeu for Martinez.
 
I may be being too optimistic but my assumption is we were after Malcolm & Richarlison - Perhaps we will be linked with another young promising winger.
