Just screams of us going for a player who doesn’t really want to play for us.

We need to get past this theory in my opinion

With all due respect, Mina a lad from Columbia, won titles in Brazil, got a move to Barca and starred in the world cup, is pretty much not going to have a clue who Everton are, i very much doubt he had Tommy Gravesen pictures on his wall as a kid.
Even doing his research on us, he will look at us and go, recently 11th, 11th, 7th, 8th in the past 4 seasons, im psoitive he wont be demanding to come to us.
Still though, we may be his best/only option to come to us if he wants game time, he wont want to be at everton forever (just like Lukaku etc), but if we get a good couple of seasons out of him, or any player for that matter and BUILD on that, then thats ok for me.
Our biggest crime was not selling Lukaku for a massive profit, but our biggest crime was we knew he wanted out since March, and even if we didnt we should of had a better contingency plan for that kind of scenario.

We need to set a deadline on it though and have a realistic plan B, or we’ll be repeating the Giroud mistake.

He's supposedly talking to Barcelona this week. These things take time. Have a plan B for sure, that's where Koeman screwed up by not having an alternative. But if this guy is the one we want then we should do everything possible to get him.

seen something there abar wolves signing moutinho for 5 million ( would be a boss signing for that cost )

mad how they just refuse to sign anyone that's not Portuguese now

Mina will be our best business if we get it done.

I'm so lost with this Mina deal, he had a few good games in a WC, he hasn't played much for Barca at all and hey dont seem to have much confidence in him. Have you seen him play previously?? I'm hoping his as good as every one is saying.

It’s the Schneiderlin effect though, a player doesn’t make it at a top club so then comes in for game time with an attitude of ‘I’m too good for all of this’. Hopefully Mina comes in and plays to his best ability but will he really be giving the same amount of effort for Everton as he did for Colombia or Barcelona?

Wolves are Mendes Wanderers. Being used by the super-agent to pay/showcase his Portuguese clients. It means they should stay up comfortably but will he stay interested longer term?

I’m quite excited about Richarlison. He was brilliant under Silva last year and really seemed to buy into his way of playing. I just hope the drop in form was very much down to Silva’s departure and they can pick up where they left off. If we can get Mina and Digne sorted this week as well then all of sudden we go into the last 2 weeks of the window in much better shape. I had pretty low expectations for this window so anything after that would be a bonus
