After the pre-seasons so far, I still think CB and LB are our most concerning areas. Not that I wouldn't welcome another striker and CM.

Definitely centre back for me.

That needs sorting as number one priority.

I think we really lack a class centre midfielder. I know they are rare, and come with a premium, but it would really help take us to another level with the additions of Mina, Dingne and Richarlison. Someone like Dembele would fit in perfectly.

I can understand him taking his time over the move, but with Lyon entering and possibly others it’s looking more unlikely as it drags on. Personally think he would be great as would be hungry to prove Barca wrong, but as you say we need alternative options in place.

Obviously a CB and LB after Richarlison but the need for a CM who move the ball on a lot faster and more precise is huge.

Fair play to whoever went for him, my favourite player of the PL era and one that genuinely worried the opposition for many seasons - whoever they were.

..the story is, Moyes and Kenwright went to a Monday night match at Millwall to watch somebody else. There was fighting outside and trouble in the ground but they decided to stay and watch. Cahill was the one who impressed Moyes, he told Kenwright he must buy him and the rest is history.

It’s a lot for Richarlison, but on the other hand if we get Mina and Digne for a combined total fee of £40m or less then that’s great business.
