Do you actually like Everton?

its fair to say im disillusioned with the way things are heading regards Everton at present.

im hoping my thoughts regards Silva turn out to be wrong. but I just see a hard season coming up.

I preferred the underdog type teams we had , teams full of fight and grit and determination. it seems to have gone out the window since our billionaire turned up.

Genuinely why even bother then?

Literally the worst argument I’ve seen for Jags being past it.

Not saying he’s not, necessarily, but getting knocked over in one challenge has **** all to do with anything
Tbh from what I recall the guy shoulder barged him as he was on one foot/ trying to regain footing, if that's the case then anyone in that situation would've hit the dirt, even Akinfeenwa

A very interesting read, for those that enjoy this kind of thing, basically, the conclusion is this :

From the eye test, it looks like Timo Baumgartl is Everton’s best option. Very good at winning tackles, active, a good passer, and as Played Off The Parkwrites, very good at vertical passing. He along with the more popular Benjamin Pavard and the experienced Holger Badstuber helped create VfB Stuttgart’s impressive defensive record of just 36 goals conceded (only Bayern conceded less).

However, there’s a very good chance that his availability hinges on Pavard potentially leaving Stuttgart, and otherwise, he might be a little out of Everton’s price range. If it’s not him, Everton could look at Florian Lejeune, Niklas Stark, Marc-Oliver Kempf, Unai Nunez, or Robin Knoche.

but we made this mistake last season with keane. We picked the best defender of a team who defend as a team expecting him to slot in, but quickly realised if we dissect each player individually from that defence there's a reason why they're at sodding burnley.

Yes but if you read the piece, Ben Mee makes the list, which suggests that 5 star Stevie bought the wrong player!

god, you know if we bought ben mee to play alongside him they'd both be utter crud together and then we'd go and buy burnley's defensive midfielder until we realise the whole process hasn't worked out. I don't think mee is better than keane tbh and i hate keane, it's all about dyche and having burnley so well drilled.

no, i don't want dyche.

Keane isnt a bad player IMO, hes just utterly shot of confidence and "fight".
