No, I think he's more of an attacking midfielder if anything. Not saying he's good, not saying we should sign him, not saying I've seen him, but he looks like a legit 8 and has played more 10 than 6 at least according to stats and stuff.

Silva does seem to like a big, powerful ball carrier in his teams.

He had N'Dioye (sp?) at Hull, on loan from Villarreal, and Doucoure played that role brilliantly at Watford.

We definitely need some power and physicality in midfield, though yeh, I'm not keen on N'Diaye.
