...with just one week left of the summer transfer window we’ve acquired 2 new players. Here’s what the rumours are saying about the Toffees this Thursday morning;
- According to FootballInsider and a host of other outlets, Everton are in talks to sign Stoke midfielder, Badou N’Diaye. The 27 year old Senegal international joined the Potters from Galatasaray in January for £14m.
- The Liverpool Echo report Stoke City want Everton Centre Back, Ashley Williams, and Sky Sports suggest a loan for the 33 year old could be part of the N’Diaye deal.
- The Daily Express say Barcelona Centre Back, Yerry Mina, is closer to joining Manchester United than Everton. Tutto Mercato report Aston Villa have bid €20m for Mina.
- The Echo suggests Everton are considering a move for Burnley’s 27 year old Centre Back, Ben Mee, should their move for Mina fall through. The Burnley Express report Mee’s contract expires next year.
- Corriere Dello Sport say Everton are ‘heavily involved’ in negotiatiations to sign Centre Back, Walter Kannemann from Brazilian outfit Gremio. The 27 year old uncapped Argentinian is described as a ‘hatchetman’.
- The Norther Echo suggest Everton have turned their attention to Middlesborough’s 25 year old Centre Half, Ben Gibson, whilst the Guardian’s Ed Aarons says Everton are interested in Newcastle defender, Jamaal Lascelles.
- Goal.com on the other hand report Everton are not prepared to meet Barcelona’s £35m valuation of Mina and have turned their attention to Manchester United’s 28 year old Argentinian defender, Marcos Rojo.
- According to the Liverpool Echo, Wigan Athletic lead the race to sign Everton’s 20 year old Left Back, Antonee Robinson on loan.
- SportItalia say Leicester are showing signs of being prepared to match Inter Milan’s valuation of midfielder, Joao Mario. The player has been targeted by Everton and West Ham.
- The Daily Mirror continue to link Everton and West Ham with Porto’s 27 year old striker, Moussa Marega.
- Turkish outlet Fotomac quote Henry Onyekuru as confirming Valencia’s interest in the Galatasaray loanee; ‘I do not think the deal can be done’.
