But it's also fair to say he's shown more promise in his Everton career than Bolasie, is it not? And given there's nine years between the two of them...

Can't agree at all I'm afraid. Bolasie has been consistently picked as a first team player whilst Vlasic hasn't. Bolasie has actually made a contribution and changed games as recently as this last season, whilst Vlasic has done nothing but run around a bit.

We will get a higher fee and more interest in Bolasie than we will Vlasic, and that's because he's the better player, who has shown far more than Vlasic has.

4 managers haven't fancied Vlasic now. One signed him, 2 wouldn't put him near the bench now Silva has jibbed him as well. He's obviously not showing anything in training or the right attitude

He seems to put the effort on the pitch.. obviously we only get a small snippet when we see them play.

Koeman liked him.

I think the reason Rhino didn't fancy him was because Koeman did, btw. I like Unsy, but his 'management' was basically to try and revert to the old guard. Bare in mind that Unsy 'steadied the ship' so well that we had to get Sam in...

Sam - he didn't fancy Lookman. He didn't fancy playing with any intention of actually scoring a goal. So I won't come down on their sides.

I think Sandro has shown enough to stay.

I have no issue with Vlasic going - ideally I think he needs a loan - but I think it's harsh to ostracise him from the group, if the reason is just because Silva doesn't fancy him. As I said, we saw the same mistake from Koeman...

In fairness, if it was just the first three, I wouldn't be arsed, so I'm probably being hypocritical.

Maybe his attitude stinks, but I can't imagine it. And the lad has talent. I don't think we should actively be looking to get rid of young players with potential to improve (and in Vlasic's case, be versatile) before we actively try to clear tosh on big wages like Bolasie.

Yeah, it's a shame, I think he's got potential (in the middle though). Saying that, he's been pretty poor in pre-season so I doubt that's helped.

Doubt it's an attitude thing. He's probably just a bit lightweight, like most of Koeman's signings.

I’ve never been convinced by Vlasic myself, but would like those others in there too.

And I think/hope they will be by this time next summer. We were never going to get rid of all the crap this summer. But they’re having a bloody good go at it.
