Even then another 20+mil for a backup player (he or Digne) when other areas are screaming out for addition seems lunacy or lazy journalism. Spurs prob go with what they got now. No one out for sure.

Leicester's win will always be that weird anomoly that proves it can be done.

I think I'd rather finish 8th than anywhere outside of the top 4. Euro League is such trash.

Disagree. Euro Tours are potentially brilliant for 3 reasons:

1) mega days outs for the fans (which is what it's all about)
2) some great memories (vs Fiorentina, vs Wolfsburg etc...which is what it's all about part 2)
3) the chance to win something!
4) and if we do, we get automatic Champs League qualification

Why would it rule out late drama?.... any 'drama' that would have happened had deadline day been in September will still happen this Thursday....sure the World cup hasn't helped the situation, but all clubs have had plenty of time to draw up their list of targets and try get those deals done... Pretty sure Brands and Silva have atleast 3 more targets they hope to bring in this week (probably in all cases we'll be left waiting till deadline day while those players hold out for the best possible deal for them)....

Good morning chaps, we have a slow Eggs news day. Understandable given we had played yesterday - Expecting it will pick up again tomorrow.

Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Everton target Marcos Rojo as Jose Mourinho is keen to offload him from Manchester United according to Metro.

Doubt Digne would have moved to us if he wasn't assured he'd be taking over from Baines this season.... Rose would also only join if he was told be would be first choice left back....so this story is a non runner for me

Apparently it doesn't just shut, it slams shut. Maybe this will be the time the glass eventually shatters and some others can squeeze through.

I hope he doesn't come. He's clearly not interested and I don't want another player whinging about how they want to leave for a 'top club'

I don't want him because he looks raw as hell and his uncle has to much to say, if he did ok , I bet it would be he wants to play for a top club.
