I can only assume by this statement that you are attracted to men, which there is nothing wrong with....

Think he will end up at Dortmund or a Spanish side, he's huge but I wonder if he's physically quick enough for the strikers in the PLI'm with @Bryan , throw all the money at Leverkusen and get Jonathan tah

We as fans are let down every window. Most teams buying really good players we spend 50 mil on dross
Shawcross is an absolute yard dog who had one decent season many moons ago and has been utter shabite since

Just throwing it out there - Fabian Delph?
Don’t see him getting much of a kick for City this season.

However we only go route one because our CB's and DCM are so crap! so its like saying I have red spots from my Ebola so lets go buy some spot cream. There is a perverse logic to this, if we had to go Route One, someone like Deeney might tick the box.

Tl;DrI would rather Shawcross than some thug of a Columbian who cant get a game for Barca, who is waiting for Utd to come in for him, and when Jose comes to his senses and decides he doesn't fancy him, the Columbian then picks us because we will pay him more than some second rate French club. Personally, i want us to sign players who want to play for Everton, not players who want to sign for Everton if Man.Utd decide they don't want them.
The names being bandied around on here are farcical, take a look at what we as a club can offer these players, no European football, virtually no hope of qualifying for the Champions league, 4 managers in 12 months, it doesn't exactly paint a picture of a well run, solid Premier League team does it?
12 months ago we had a disastrous Europa League campaign, a disastrous performance in both domestic cups and limped to an 8th place finish with a manager who was thrashed at every opportunity.
We are in yet another transition period, our 5th in 6 years since Moyes left.
We all have to be realistic. We are not ( yet ) a club who can offer realistically European football on a regular basis, we are not a club who can realistically offer the prospect of winning silverware on a regular basis.
To get to that standard we need solid dependable signings who can improve on what we have. Richarlson and Digne are the first steps on a long road back to where we were in the first season after Moyes left.
Rant over.
