Not necessarily. David Weir's last season here he was club captain but barely played and we had an 'on field' captain instead - might be wrong on that but fairly sure it's the case.

You wont get anything for him though. I am quite happy for him to be a bit part player as he is serviceable enough. Anything more than that though and we have problems.
