Would you join Everton ahead of Spurs mate?

I mean if you were a good player looking to progress your career?

Mirallas pick us ahead of Arsenal
Pickford join us when [Poor language removed] are sniffing
Baines reject Man U
I’m sure there are more example out there.
Sessegnon had chance to move last summer but decided to stay and sign a new contract at Fulham so that he can have consistent game time. Which nobody expect at that time.
Never say never when it comes to recruitment. We’re looking for replacement for Baines and I reckon there’s a good chance sessegnon will start ahead of Baines very soon into the new season. This kid prioritise game time above anything else. To say that we have zero chance is just too defeatist.

I think with it being world cup year etc we are going to struggle.

We really need quality and right now I can't see where it's going to come from.

Brands and a new manager have to be sorted asap, as well as a few obvious outgoings.

All of those were absolutely years ago, look at us now.

Then Sam Byram and Obonlobobobo jibbed us off for West Ham.

If hes as good as people think, he will have no trouble nailing down a spot at Spurs, especially after they spend 40m on him.

Set your standards lower, it leads to less heartache, Joao Moutinho taught me that.

We should look at PVA at Palace.

Exactly, players choose to join on a variety of reasons and not solely on the league placing of the previous season.

I’m sure you realise if we’re going to reach the next stage of developement, we really ought to buy some really high quality players. 10 years ago we have no financial footing to aim for such players. Now, 10 years later, we are financially sound and yet we keep telling ourselves no we can’t. It’s not Messi type unrealistic. We’re talking about the best English left back at a junior age group. If that is beyond us then god help us in progressing to the next level.

You see, thats the problem, hes mainly played Left Wing this season.

He looks a talented player, hopefully he does better than the last great English LB, Luke Shaw.

Brands will find us a better player anyway.

I just hope we get ourselves ahead of spurs model if we’re going to be successful. We must somehow push ourselves ahead of them in pecking order when cherry picking superior English youth talent.
They did well with bale, dele, Rose and many more. We’re slowly getting there with Lookman and some other kids but I want us to aggressively push towards this recruitment strategy.

We need to sign the next Lukaku. Not necessarily the same type of player, but the next 20 goals a season man.

If there is a sniff of Rashford or Martial, then we should be all over them, however would personally go for Tammy Abraham. Wasted in a poor Swansea side, but has always scored for fun. Has all the attributes and don't forget that Kane had unsuccessful loan spells with Norwich and Leicester before he got his run with Spurs. Think he was even relegated with Norwich too. Abraham all the way I say..

We need a defence a hell of a lot more than we need another striker.

Need a manager to organise a defence. We have a group of international defenders in the present squad, some young, some old. They need organising and motivating more than anything else. Goals will always win matches.

I've been saying Dembele for two summers so why change now. Dembele he has potential probably gettable for 25m.
