Summer 2018 Transfer Window

Our next big money transfer has to be all in on a No. 9 ...

We are building a very decent squad & this is the current priority.

Brands has an extensive South American scouting network - that’s where I think this player will come from.

Bernard & Richarlison are a great draw for us now.
We have to overcome issues with this not sure we can simply choose a big money transfer postion then just go out & secure the target.
It will be similar to Mina we have to wait until either the player or there club decide nobody better wants them.
For now I’d pretty much sign any top player that want to come with the exception of left wing left or left back you could probably add goalie to that

Midfield is where I would look to strengthen.

We have Onyekuru, Lookman and Vlasic still developing and all have the potential to improve and get in the side. (If we sell, there is a big profit on them too).

I would go for Lozano as the attacker. A frontline that constantly shifts is how the best sides set up in the modern game.

I reckon our next big money buy will be Lozano. I reckon we'll sell Lookman to RBL in January and put the money towards the Mexican.

Then in the summer we'll go after a striker, a midfielder (possibly Gomes if he settles) and another CB, possibly Zouma.

I'm hoping Coleman get's his pre injury form and fitness back, otherwise we could be looking for a right back too.

I wouldnt be shocked to see Walcott and Lookman sold in Jan and Lozano in....that would would sort out the wide positions

We'd only have 3 then Zat so no cover if one got injured. Maybe different when Onyekuru comes back in the summer but I can see him developing as a central striker. Walcott is still a good option for us at the moment mate.

I cant see Onyekuru as a central player + to my knowledge hes only ever scored coming in off the left side...hes lethal there.

Think Walcotts age will count against him + lookman will need to force his way in or i can see him off for £20mil...

Starting 11 player and our only reliable right side option Theo Walcott will not be sold in a January window, regardless of someone like Lozanos ability.

I can’t see Brands signing a player just because he’s available
Him and Silva have a long term plan
They know what they need and will wait for the right player to be available before signing anyone
If they reckon a CF is the most important signing to make and no one of the right quality becomes available they will sign a player for another position who is available and strengthens the squad
I’m interested to see what he does with the youth set up and if he signs anyone for the academy
