Gomes won't cost that much regardless how well he plays this season, what happened to him at Barca will massively reduce what teams would be willing to risk on him fee wise

Palace lad, he's the latest fom so silly money and should swerve him

Reckon Chelsea would be wanting more than 35m for Zouma on his current form.

Be surprised if Lozano went for much over 35-40 due to what league he's at. Then again PSV should set the mark at the same fee as a base we paid for Richarlison in reality, but being a Dutch club could see them settling for a lower fee with a nice sell on attached.

£70mil striker? Id play Richarlison up front and see if Marcel can bring in Augustin (leipzig) or perhaps this Wesley (brugge).

We had the same thing happen when we saw arshavin play against us and look where he ended up.

No way lozano will forego cl football for potentially not even Europa League football.

He was very good in portugal + has been very good for Wolves. Totally different player to Gomes.

If we sell Niasse + Tosun + Walcott (as i hope) and bring in Lozano, we would still need someone to play CF (along with Richarlison and DCL)

We won't sell Walcott mate. He is the right type of character to fit well into the squad, brings experience, and even if he is replaced as a starter us the type who can change a game and give a different option from the bench.

Richarlison if he makes that CF position his starting one, with DCL as back up gives two players for the one position, which for us atm is enough.

My take on Gomes is this
He’s 26 at the start of next season
He’s a busted flush at Barca
Barca don’t want him and the fans don’t want him
He has wasted 2 vital years of his career at Barca
They were offering him around at 20m in the summer
He lost his place in the Portuguese national side and has just got it back
He seems happy here and though not fully fit he is settling in and seems to be getting his form back
He knows his next move will be his last chance to prove his worth
Gomes can’t take a risk with his next move , he has to go somewhere he’s happy and playing regularly
If a club offers more than we are prepared to pay and Gomes says no , I either sign for Everton or no one , what do Barca do ?
I can see us signing him for a reasonable fee and nowhere near what Barca paid for him as he will only have 1 maybe 2 years left on his contract
