BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Fell off the chair when I saw this comment!

Fat little hobbit is a 1 in 8 player, wish we could let go of this obsession in getting more average players into or over populated average squad....

Jebus!

And so is Siggurdson.

We ain't got the pulling power to get better IMO.

Go into next season with Lozano, Sandro, Kluivert, Tosun, Walcott, Lookman, Vlasic, Sigurdsson, Ozyakup, Gueye, Davies, Carvalho as the midfield/attacking options and we'd look in pretty good shape.

Much prefer to get rid of Sandro and his massive wages and have Niasse there instead who has shown he can score goals and offers something as a third choice that we won’t be able to get elsewhere.

Why don’t we just loan Klasseen to Besitkas and pay the £12 million. Gets one high earner of the books for a another year. It looks like the end for Schniderlin, Rooney and Besic with all these links to CMs.

That’s what I assumed it would be. We buy him outright but with klaasen heading there on loan. It would give klaasen game time that he needs and doesn’t make sense otherwise.

- German magazine, Kicker, say Hoffenheim’s 28 year old, 6ft 3in Centre Back, Benjamin Hubner, has rejected a move to Everton in favour of staying at the German club.

goes against the idea that players will come to Everton for the wages

Looks like Rooney is leaving. Best thing for all parties imo. His wages can be better spent elsewhere.

Now get shut of Schneiderlin, Klaassen, Williams, Martina, Sandro and Mirallas as well.

I’ve heard from a friend in Cardiff that Besic is apparently on a list of midfielders that Warnock is considering if Gunnerson doesn’t sign a new contract with Cardiff (he is out of contract this summer). Not sure how realible this is.

Not my choice as a first purchase. I think Gana/ Benny can do the defensive task.

Silva has to have a structure in mind for the team and for me support for Tosun is essential and that is best supplied by a top, attacking midfielder
with whom he can link. If that is the case, we need a dynamic midfielder who can get around - Carvalho is not that player.

Spot on, Gana can do Carvalho’s job already, and he does it better. Beni too, as you say, is in a similar mould. Would be a totally pointless first signing given the positions we need to fill elsewhere, chief among which is a partner for Gana, not a replica.

Brands has the say on transfers anyway, so hopefully we don’t need to worry about this one.
