Based on the papers listed.

Realistic fees and ✔️ to go or ❌ to stay

Wayne Rooney - Free ✔️
Ashley Williams - £500k-1m or payoff ✔️
Ramiro Funes Mori - £7-10m ✔️
Luke Garbutt - £1-2m ✔️
Yannick Bolasie - £6-8m ✔️
Ademola Lookman - £15-18m ❌
Oumar Niasse - £10-15m ✔️
Shan Tarashaj - £500k-1m or payoff ✔️
Sandro Ramirez - £5-8m ❌
Morgan Schneiderlin - £8-10m ✔️
Davy Klaassen - £10-12m ✔️
Kevin Mirallas - £1-2m ✔️
Brendan Galloway - £1-2m ✔️
Tyias Browning - £1-2m ✔️
Matthew Pennington - £1-2m ✔️

I think Sandro and Lookman would be the type of players Silva may see as useful.

Personally I'd like Galloway, Browning, Garbutt and Klaassen given a full pre season before we ship them out.

The main question I have here is how did you do those ticks and crosses?

Williams, Bolasie, Schneiderlin and Klaassen are the problems

If we sold them all for the upper amount of your suggestions there, you're looking at a combined accounting loss of £23m - that would have a massive impact on what we can spend

Think you’re underestimating both the state of the market and our ability to get good dollar for our players.

Schneiderlin - still young and shown in past he can be a good player. West Ham offered £20m in January. He will be sold for £20-23m imo.

Klaassen - at least £15m

Bolasie - £10-15m

Also you can add Besic to that. Probably around £4m for him?

I think Klaassen deserves another season but the other 3 are wasting vital oxygen at Finch Farm. I'd offer Bolaise to Newcastle as part of any deal for Lascelles. Schneiderlin is an ex Man United player who has also played for France. He'd be a marquee signing for someone. Williams is the big problem because he's too old, on a massive wage, a major attitude problem and seriously on the decline i can't think of anyone who'd want him.

But just because they are "down the list" doesn't mean they should be kept, particularly the likes of Jagielka. He should be right up there as one to sell or just offer a free transfer to.

My top three to be punted are Rooney, Klaassen, Bolasie, Sandro, Mirallas, Keane. Walcott, Tosun are very good players, and Schneiderlin can still play a role if we can't attract anybody better.

imo.

Jags as fourth choice CB is just fine.

We need an experienced head - he was our best defender last season - and having him as insurance behind Holgate, Keane and hopefully a new, quality CB, will be good heading into the season.

Yeah, I don't have any problem with this in all honesty - I can understand why some people see him as symptomatic of our problems, but he's nowhere near the worst centre back we have - Williams and Funes Mori should be shown the door long before Jags is considered. There's also the possibility that Lewis Gibson might edge towards the first team squad over the coming year, so I don't have any problem with Jags seeing out the last year of his contract before he, presumably, retires

On what basis would you say Klaassen 'deserves' another season though? I mean i'm certainly not a Bolasie fan but he at least had a positive impact in some games last season, even Schneiderlin got better towards the end of it, but Klaassen produced absolutely nothing of any note whatsoever in the entire season.

If Silva and Brands want to keep him then fine, but I struggle to see what any fan could have spotted last year that makes them think him and his £100k a week wage need to stay.

Think Brands will want to keep a 30 year old winger who relies heavily on his pace and makes huge wages? He'll be off in 12months with Gylfi.

Just because he brought in and used a lot of younger players in the Eredivisie doesn't mean that is purely what he is going to do here.

It's a completely different scenario as Dutch sides have to rely on youth as their better older players tend to move on to bigger and better leagues.
