But mate he wants to be here!!!!!

It’s foolish to think he wants to be here without taking into consideration of his wages.

Imagine if he’s on 40k per week and not having a game for 6 months and Roma approach to sign him for 60k per week.

So much for genuine heart and soul devoted to staying for the sake of his career.

Everton can confirm goalkeeper Joel Robles is among seven players whose current contracts will expire at the end of June.

Midfielders Jose Baxter and Conor Grant will depart the Club and are set to join Oldham Athletic and Plymouth Argyle respectively.
Fellow Under-23s players Sam Byrne, Calum Dyson, Louis Gray and David Henen are all set to be released.

Second-year scholars who have not been offered professional contracts are Stephen Duke-McKenna, Charlie Ball, Nathan Baxter, Jordan Corke, Matthew Johnson, Sidney Kerr, Nathan Moore and Tom Scully.

Everton wishes to thank all departing players for their contribution throughout their time at the Club.
Never heard of him, but Sidney Kerr has a great name.

I am sure we all understand we need to cull our team quite drastically and I understand that, but if we have to wait until most of them have gone before we buy, it worries me what will be left to buy. In my opinion for what its worth I would at least buy Lozano now before the WC and his price rockets.

Yep this worries me a lot! The natural Everton way will be to agree terms in principle with Lozano before the WC, announce it, then he has an awesome WC and his agent tells us to sod off before he goes and joins United or some other buggers in the CL.

Get it done sharpish Marcel!

Yes I agree it would be better. However the selling club would never agree. Why sell now when they can wait 4 weeks to get 20million more?

I’d be quite happy with that if they think this Robinson or Connolly or other is a real prospect. Look at that Alexander Arnold. Look at Michael Ball, he looked like a seasoned pro from his 1st game. If we’ve got that sort of quality ready to hatch, why spend. LB is still one of the better left backs in the league. Let him rotate with the youngsters.
