Of all the links at the moment that feels most realistic to me.

But a lot would depend on how ‘London’ he is. If you get me. Brah.

The one concern I have signing these potentially great individual players (admittedly haven’t seen his team work) is that they need to work in a team and with that, I would focus on what he’d bring to others we have and are targeting. The blend needs to be right. Everything I have seen of him (very little) is individual so far. These kinds of players get noticed whilst their weaknesses are never scrutinised. Like Barkley before him, when the team isn’t doing well they add very little.

I’m not saying he’s not good enough for us, he looks brilliant. I just want the right signing who contributes more to the team.

Would completely depend on where his head is at. Nobody here knows the full story of where it went wrong for him here. No question he has (had) all the tools to be a top player. If he wanted to come back & was committed to getting himself back on track, and Brands/Silva want him...then bring a Blue home.

He was once giving it the big balls about playing at Goodison (years back when it was really pretty rare) on Kipper and was posting pics of himself in full kit etc . Got a load of comments like 'more obstructed views at Goodison' 'Ginola's let himself go' etc etc and let's put it this way, the word 'cart' appeared a LOT.

I didn't know if that was the same one, but it looked to me like he was playing as a bloody box to box
