One more game, he blessed with incritate control (which evaded him a fair few times), physical prowess and a nice turn of pace but haven’t seen the wow factor yet. I suspect our scouts if we are truly interested will be aware of more than just the games at the World Cup.

It’s scary how much hype some of the players get without performing to a high degree of standards that the compliments would suggest.

Happy to see him move to us and be awesome by the way. x

Guys like Brands don't work to artificial 1 window deadlines. He will have a destination he wants to get Everton too, a budget he has in mind he works towards and will have a timescale with which he can do that. I highly doubt he will expect to do it in 1 summer.

I hope to see us going in the right direction. It seems a small expectation, but it's not something I've felt for at least 2 years.

Loftus -Cheek wouldn't look twice at us, he was already way out of our league months ago.
Mooy's more our level( but we probably ain't signing him either, thankfully)

The fact you've said tackling is his primary jobs shows how little knowledge you've got on Mooy. I didn't know crossing accuracy was such a big deal for attacking players.

I'm not suggesting we sign him but you can make stats print any kind of picture you like.
 
@catcherintherye i think RLC makes sense for us and (as you mentioned)Silva has plucked out Chalobah from Chelsea whilst at Watford.

RLC is clearly a step up but what i find intriguing is that if were prioritising an English CM then why didnt we go for Maddison who seems to tick alot of boxes...

I wonder whether weve already got our targets lined up and are just offloading players before we move on anyone...as Brands doesnt seem to be the type to wait on things...

What i would be quite interested in seeing is some moves for the Chelsea young players wh9 seem to be very good such as Hudson-Odoi and Trevoh Chalobah who seems a far better prospect.

If Brands follows his PSV model he will focus on young English players + a sprinkling of South American kids...quite exciting.
 

would say zaha but his fee and given he is already on 110k a week, its unlikely he will come.

players like zaha and spurs dembele or wanyama are the type of players that should be targeted.
rather then buy cheap and hope it turns out good.

I thought i was the only one who noticed that thing with his accent. Whqt the hell is it? Its like someone from the wirral on holiday (im from the wirral incidently)
