Instead we played a 3rd choice RB at LB. similarly, I think Dowell was the best RM alternative we had before Walcott came in but there are still questions to be answered regarding him.

Yeah but on the other hand they both must have learned much more than they would have for us, regular game time at a higher level than before, some loans, like Galloways most recent 1s, they are a waste, keeping Dowell and Robinson when we had Koeman and Sam as manager would have been a waste, at least we now have a manager that will judge them on their talent, not their age, its up to them to show they can make an impact from now on.
