- The Official sites of Everton and D.C. United plus a multitude of new outlets around the globe have confirmed the transfer of Wayne Rooney to Major League Soccer.
- The Daily Mirror report Everton have identified Celtic Left Back, Kieran Tierney, as the long-term successor to Leighton Baines. Celtic signed the 21 year old on a new 6 year deal in October.
- According to 4th Official, Everton made an enquiry for Lyon Centre Back, Mouctar Diakhaby, but the French U21 international looks like joining Valencia (there are reports he actually signed for Valencia yesterday).
- The Guardian report West Ham as one of a number of clubs interested in taking Everton winger Yannick Bolasie this summer. The same outlet also suggest Toffees midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin will join French Ligue 1 side, Marseilles.
- Stoke on Trent Live also pick up information from The Guardian suggesting Stoke manager, Gary Rowett, is keen on Everton defender, Ashley Williams. Wales Online, however, warn that the 33 year olds £75k per week salary might put off potential suitors in the Championship.
- Portuguese newspaper, Record, say Inter Milan lead Everton in pursuit of Sporting Lisbon contract rebel, William Carvalho.
- Turkish Football inform out-of-contract Arsenal midfielder, Jack Wilshire is in talks with Fenerbahce. Wilshire arrived in a private jet with his father and his agent, Neil Fewings, and will make a decision on whether to make the move in the next few days.
- The Manchester Evening News suggest Manchester City will not activate the £20m buy-back option they have on Huddersfield’s Australian midfielder, Aaron Mooy. Everton and Southampton are linked with the 27 year old.
