Summer transfer speculative hopes and dreams

Would flat out refuse to sell Coleman unless he kicked up a fuss, if he did I would smack a £32 million price tag on his head as their is only Ivanovic who you could argue to be a better RB over the past 2-3 seasons (although the Kopite disciples in the media would argue Clyne who's had 1 decent season) anything less than £30 mil would be a disgrace, 25 years of age and 4 years left on his contract.

If he left Van Der Wiel would be one to look at although he'll probably be on massive wages, Kyle Walker could possibly do a job at the right price (8-10 mil) only 25 and got pace on him.
Kyle Walker is one of the worst footballers I've watched, he's robbed a living.

Hibbert is a better defender

Positionally, Kyle Walker is an absolute horror of a footballer - his pace gets him out of so much trouble.

I think that's the issue in letting Coleman go - who could we bring in to replace him? Trippier would have been a decent shout but he's gone to Spurs.

Strangely, I don't fear Utd when it comes to transfers. If we do sell to them it'll be for a ridiculous fee.

I wonder why we're not after that Ukrainian fella Koplyianka or whatever his name is? Seems mad that nobody has secured his signing. Must have a disgusting attitude or something.

Since I didn't want to be banned by responding to this and mentioning these players I'll post here.

At this point I really don't think we're going to get any better. Lennon is a good little player but he doesn't have the goal threat of Kev. Yarmolenko and even Konoplynka are going to go to UCL clubs, we could go for either Jesse or Cheryshev but are unlikely to get either. In fact Liverpool are looking like they're in for Cheryshev now Shaqiri is staying at Inter. Nolito will probably go to Valencia. The fact remains we're probably the best club for Kev and he's probably the best we can do. I really do wonder if we should have tried harder to get Payet, could he be like Tadic last year.

At least we have Deulofeu, I would take him over any of them anyway.

"Nolito" - As good as he is... 7M for a player turning 29? Maybe if we were loaded.

We really should be looking at Quintero.

Someone explained why a couple of days ago. Something about third party ownership and if he signs for a premier league team, it will end up costing millions. He isn't ' free '....

I like the look of Byram tbh I think he'll be a cracking premier league right back in the future.

Losing Coleman would be a blow, but getting 20-25 million and then replacing him with Byram for 8 million wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

Big chunk left over to get a better class playmaker and centre half instead of looking in the bargain bin.
Looked like a future England right back when he first burst onto the scenes, has only been a decent Championship the last two seasons. Hasn't been as good as people thought he'd be at.

He's only been at Lille for a season though, so his price may be a little big more than that. But, as you say, decent player and he's only 24 so he's still got time to grow as a player.
