Out forwards last season were
Rom
Valencia
Kone

Right now we have
Rom
Sandro (imminent)

So with Rom likely leaving us, I think it's fair to say we need two strikers. Last season there was a few games where having no options on the bench really cost us, and if we want a good Europa run, we need strikers in imo.

DCL.

My best mate is a die hard Celtic fan mate, no rumours at all in Jockland about Dembele.

Non starter.
To be fair, there have been rumors about Dembele going to someone about every day since he started banging them in. Honestly, that league is pretty bad, so it's tough to judge. He is no way gets away with half that garbage in the EPL.

We certainly need more in, after shelling out £60m it won't stop there.

Keane £25m
Sigurdsson £30m +
Lukaku replacement £30m +

That's practically £150m and we should recoup in excess of £100m if Lukaku + Barkley and other fringe players leave. So quite a transformation for little outlay which would be great.

The only other issue is how many more, if any, Koeman would be comfortable in adding without undue disruption to the squad and concerns about so many new players bedding in.

My guess is another 4 in maximum. Keane, another striker, Sigurdsson or cheaper equivalent and cheap or free RB cover such as Martina.

That would represent a really good window without huge outlay. Still leaves some holes in the squad but I doubt if we could logistically accomodate any more new players in the same window without defeating the purpose here.

Yeah, it's ultimately going to take a another window or two.

If we sell McCarthy, others, we'll have more cash to spend later perhaps. Ideally, we buy Siggy, Keane, sell McCarthy, buy another CB (young, up and coming like Lemos, Llorente), buy a talented backup and eventual Baines replacement. If we sell Geri, we'll try and get another player with pace outside I would think. Lookman should get a chance, but he seems to like the left quite a bit. Need a RW.

By all accounts he's very happy there and doesn't want to go and warm a bench for someone in the Premier League.

He gets to be the main man, doesn't get put under the microscope and is allowed to develop.

The Celtic fans accept that he will go one day in the future though.

From what I hear he spends most of his free time in Paris, so would make sense

Cavani though ?

He spends most of his time in Antwerp and Brussels mate. And also a bit in Holland but that's because his most recent gf lives there. That about his gf I learned by watching VI (Dutch football program):

In Holland, Dolberg, Sanchez and De Ligt are the ones...Jorgensen wont cut the physicality.

Dembele did well at Fulham and finds it easy in Scotland, Tierney seems like the one to go for there though.

As for Lukaku, I think he would probably stay if we went and brought in a truly top player like VVD or Koulibaly...

No disrespect to the new boys and the names linked but at Chelsea he would be favourite for a winners medal, we need to show we will go for the top stars to turn his head.

VVD/Koulibaly or similar level players would do that.

He wouldn't be favourites for a winners medal at Chelsea mate, be surprised if anyone thinks they will repeat this season next.
