I do like Besic but that is just what MG does. He could do a Barca team formation and still get Besic in.
The problem is we'll have to spend a good £150-170 million if we are to upgrade the side to a squad strong enough to compete for the CL whilst playing in europe. Looking at the likely faces out the door we'll still have to pay big money for replacements

Im sick of repeating the same thing- not one top quality striker will want to sign for EFC if we don't have CL football.
Koeman will have 2 choices if Rom goes:
1. Sign a risk player from abroad and hope he is another Suarez and not another Janssen/Alfonso Alves etc. The majority are more of the latter than the former that's the problem.
Or
2. Sign a proven PL goalscorer to try limit the loss of the 20 goals we'll miss from Rom- Austin/Giroud/Defoe/Benteke/Bony all fall into this category and Koeman has signed Austin once before. None are as good as Rom that's the problem.
Too many idiots in our fanbase expect Lacazette/Belotti/James Rodriguez all clamouring to sign for us. If we could attract them Lukaku wouldn't be wanting to leave...
