RK and Walsh aren't stupid, they know what they're doing. They won't expect to be able to get one single player to replicate the Rom goals (I'm also firmly in the Lukaku Out camp) so I'm content in a risk Dembele/Sandro being announced, and a lump like Benteke/Bony as a backup target, knowing that he's spreading his options for the heavy fixtures. I'm confident a 15-20 scorer will arrive to compliment them all (Giroud/Vardy/possibly even *cough* Sturridge *cough* if he's cheap enough to outweigh the injuries.)

Sandro, Dembele, Keane, Pickford, Batsuayi with strong rumours of the likes of Dolberg, Ihanacho (sp?), Sig and Giroud before mid July and I'd be more excited about the new season than I have been for quite some time. We're finally getting some depth for Europa league and the feeling of your stomach stroking out at the mention of 'Alcaraz' is starting to fade.

I remember the last time I was given last minute excitement on Deadline Day. Sitting there at around 9pm watching SSN and you hear 'we've just heard an England International has just arrived at Finch Farm!'. Hoping Rooney was heading back at the time, only to sign Gareth Barry.
 
Dembele's first touch and especially finishing is immense. Dude slots it Top Corner like it's nothing.

For the right price, I'm for it.

Think it's interchangeable tbh.

I'd prefer Barkley - if he wants to stay - to be occupying that position on the right, though we could do with another creative player also like.
 

Watch Celtic alot, Forster, Wanyama and VVD were all sure things and I was begging us to sign them. Could have been had firb £30m combined. I just don't feel the same about Dembele big price tag and has a lot to learn. If truth be told Leigh Griffiths outshone him at times last year.
 
I would like Batshuayi as part of any deal for Lukaku and also ideally either Christensen or Aki as I think we will get better value with players plus money as I cant see Chelsea stumping up 70mil plus in cash for him. Im pretty m'eh when it comes to Sigurdsson. By all accounts the boy Sandro can take a mean free kick and think he would cover this box while adding more in terms of general play. I would be in for Iheanacho and/or Dolberg as well as either a second striker or option from the bench depending on the system we play on a given day.

He's far too good for the scottish league that's for sure. I saw him a few times at Fulham and you could see then he's clearly special if not very raw. I think he could be another Lukaku. in 3 years time he will have tripled in value.
 

On Dembele by the way,

Flew in from Boston last night to ....................... Glasgow.
Celtic have there first training session today, so if Celtic twitter put pics up of training, expect to see Moussa there.
I dont know if our interest is real, but he certainly was not at FF yesterday.

I would file this one in the made up story bin.
