He had an absolutely brilliant end to the season in terms if goals and assists mate, think this vid was made prior to that run of games, reading up he came back this season from a knee injury too which may explain him taking time to hit form. He's very highly regarded in Italy apparently.

vid was made in march - played at that point 13 games after being out from august to January with a knee injury, scored 2 with 4 assists at that point

Last 8 games of the season - he scored 3 and had 6 assists - so really hit form

If you think back, we've relatively little success with imports from foreign leagues, either not settled or just generally not up to PL standard. Doesn't stop the masses crying out for an exotic name though!

He is a very very good player mate, strange one him going to Zenit like, although they are reported here to be spending big again this season (something about wanting to win the league in the run up to the World cup in Russia etc for the prestige involved for being the reigning champions)
