Think Liverpool's shape last season is the way you'll see us line up most of the time - a narrow front three, a sitting midfielder and two more box-to-box types with the full backs providing most of the natural width

If that is so - then it's a tad worrying as Seamus only has one leg and Baines is getting too old now to perform that role week-in, week-out.

4-3-3 is only bread and butter when you have wingers. Change the system to the personnel. If we head into the start of the season with this squad I'd be surprised if we played 4-3-3.

Rich clubs replace good players with better ones but considering some of the gaps seems odd.

I think its fairly safe to assume we wont be ending the window with this squad and if we do, we have the players to play 4-3-3 currently.

To be fair Whoscored have him having played half his games as a deep midfielder, a quarter as an attacking midfielder and a quarter as a right midfielder.
