If that is so - then it's a tad worrying as Seamus only has one leg and Baines is getting too old now to perform that role week-in, week-out.

Don't get how Brozovic is required... unless he is superior to Gana or Davies but do we really need another defensive midfielder?

Rich clubs replace good players with better ones but considering some of the gaps seems odd.

I cant wait till the window actually opens then the transfers should really start flying in!

To be fair Whoscored have him having played half his games as a deep midfielder, a quarter as an attacking midfielder and a quarter as a right midfielder.

Still, its safe to say if he came in he would be "taking" starts from both Gana and Davies.

He can play the role Ross did the second half of this season and I've seen him do it well for inter and I think he's done it for Croatia.
