Can I ask reasonably to swerve transfer gossip stuff until the last game of the season? Then promise I'll leave this thread alone until September.

We just got bummed at Anfield and then conceded a last minute equaliser to United. Our star striker wants to leave and Barkley still hasn't signed a contract. Let us talk about mythical signings mate

i hope to hell we're not buying schmeichel and keane. I mean, that's not really the ambition i was thinking of. Schmeichel and pickford wouldn't be so disasterous as that's good competition, but we need to do a lot of business, i can't see us wanting to buy two keepers. The same goes for keane, that almost certainly means we'll want to buy another centre back as well surely? Was hoping for better, hope his sources are wrong on this one.

These links with the Schalke fullback Kolashnikov^~ or whatever his name is, is quite tasty. Him in addition to Manolas and/or Keane would give us a very solid back 4 when Coleman comes back.

Keane has been one of the stand out defenders this season and represents the best quality that we can realistically sign. I would love Van Dijk or somebody but Keane is far more likely.

People are discussing Keane and Schmeichel because WRD on TEF has said he's heard that they are both done deals.
