Summer Transfer Window 2017

Being linked to the Bosnian LB, Kolasinac of Schalke again and according to Bild we've offered him a contract worth £160K a week!

Not sure how genuine that's is but the lad is a player and would be a great long term replacement for Baines!

Also being linked to Anderson Talisca, the Benfica attacking mid who is on loan at Besiktas currently and has a £21m release clause....

Yes please to Kolasinac - well worth the hefty wages. Top LB.

Talisca I'm not so sure about. Literally all he can do is shoot and score free kicks, rubbish at practically everything else.

Keane and Schmeichel fine by me. Get them in early and ready for pre-season.
We need to build momentum this summer, need new faces and a sense that we are ready to give it a go from August.
It's not so much big names for me, it's just having a squad big enough so that RK has decent options, particularly as the EL will take its toll.

Wouldn't know, don't play FIFA, don't even own a console! At end of the day I'm making my own assumptions of what we need imo, wether Koeman goes and does that is another matter and I know that.

What's even the point in making suggestions in a post on a forum where you can share your views with others and have debates if someone like you who helps run the webpage/forum mocks others for having a say on a matter?!....
He doesn't help run it and think of it as comedy not gospel. If you don't take him/yourself seriously on here you'll have more fun.

*steps off soap box*

Schmeichel or Hart
Robertson or Shaw
Keane
Sigurdsson
Rooney
Perez
Have wondered if we might go back in for Perez.....

Also, Robertson over Shaw all day long. I question Shaw's desire.

Schmeichel, Siggy, Keane, Robertson and Perez would be a solid start.

I'd love to sign VVD, Mata and Lacazette instead but simply don't think any of those could happen. Last thing i want is to see the club making a desperation offer for Sissoko on deadline day cause our primary "dream" candidates don't pan out.....

The 5 listed above though are plausible and would all make us better/deeper. Let's get some off of that list (or similar) done early - particularly in the spine - and then let the chips fall where they may.

Butland or Heaton mate

I couldn't see us tempting any of the "name" goalies :(

Rather have butlabd than any of the German etc keepers anyway mate.

Him, Keane and another class dente back, competition for Bainesy, someone like tielmans, a siggurdson, add a splash of Rooney and some young striker like iheanacho and I'd be a happy bunny.

Oh and dzagoev, just because my son would love it.

The love in with Holgate at RB is hugely confusing to me. He is not a RB. He's fine defensively, but he is really poor at going forward.
The lads a CB. I don't think he's that bad going forward. Technically he looks decent.

He's just played 2 tough away games, where he was always going to be on the back foot. Abs one in a position he's probably never played before.

I'm certain rashford would have caused Coleman more problems. RK seems a manager hell bent on being hard to beat. And probably already looking at full backs, who are defensively strong. Unless of course he starts playing wing backs on a regular basis.

One things for certain Moshiri HAS to show ambition this transfer window and stump up the cash for the rebuild.

Interesting that Sigurdsson was playing on the left tonight for swansea, don't know if he always has or not but I've wanted Koeman to go down the 4-3-3 all season. Assuming Rom goes:

Schmeichel

Coleman Keane ???? ????

Gueye Barkley Schneiderlein

??? ????? Sigurdsson

Don't know a great deal about Talisca but would he not suit playing out wide as a wide forward in Koeman's preferred 4-3-3 system?....

Joshua King at Bournemouth has impressed me on a few occasions this season.

Certainly knows where the net is and his best years are ahead of him.

Would be a better option than DCL.
I agree

there is also a young lad at Norwich who is good

there is some good talent dotted around the place tbh

but because their name aint messi or Ronaldo ppl instantly dismiss them

I think sig

i think sigurdsson can play wide, but we would need to have pace on the other side. He could also play in number 10 if Barkley was out.

Sigurdsson as played from the left a lot this season for Swansea and really done well. Spurs tried to play him there years ago and he wasn't has effective and was in and out of the side but he's really stepped up for Swansea playing wide left in a forward three but personally I think he plays best in the centre.
