Not much last year to be sure. But he always has been a impact player to change a draw into a win. I'll never forget his two late goals against us to claim a point. Always looked good to me and not always the typical goal hanger.

Still depressing that with new owner and new money and great buys over last week';these days news is taken up with us selling our most talented striker and bringing in an over the hill former world class striker on massive wages who can't get a place on MUs team buy who apparently will be a regular in ours. Shows how much everton need to improve before we can challenge for the top 4.

Actually, I'd take a chance on Benteke. He is a monster in the air and he'd get plenty of chances created for him by an Everton team with Rooney, Sandro and possibly Klaassen if he makes the leap in class demanded by the PL. Even if you dont play him every game he'd be able to change the dynamic off the bench.

Would love to see us throw a cheeky bid @Dortmund for Pulisic. Would be excellent for that wide right position- pace, final ball, IQ- and would link well with a speedy striker (Sandro)

Anyone know what the actual case was with Dembele at FF a few weeks ago?

I know Dave Downie off the blue room said he was there and a few people suggest it was for an advert of some type.

Has anything escalated at all from that or was that the actual case? He throws a few little hints in on podcasts on twitter, but is all that tongue in cheek?

Erm all day yesterday was Rooney and Giroud, today it's those two and the inevitable Lukaku chatter, what do you want? Him to leave and it to be nowhere in the press?

Yeah, he defo doesnt fit into Ronnys pressing football, but he will be a very good attacking focal point.

Suppose if we put 2 players like Rooney and Sandro alongside him, I mean Rooneys legs have gone, but he will press.
