The way things are going here I think I'd be prepared to hold my nose and bid for Vardy. I cant believe I'm even posting that.
We wont get Giroud. Forget it. And I'd be inclined toward a proven PL slotter than some hopeful (or even accomplished player) from another league. He's horrible, but he might be the only viable player to fill the void.

Looks like it's Benteke
Vardy is a rat Dave.
We don't need rats in the team.
Throw in Ross (or his replacement) and Bolasie as well mate.
That'd be eight 'forwards' (as Koeman sees them) for three positions.
A variety of styles and physicality across the board, as well as a balance of youth and experience.
I hate him, but in the PL he's the next one down from Giroud who we could conceivably get.I rather think that Giroud will join Dave, and I can't believe you said bid for Vardy, wash yer mouth out with soap !!
Ha Ha.Oh my god it's only early July and they've cracked you already mate. Stay strong.
Rather go for Shane Long myself.Looks like it's Benteke
SellStoke are ready to match Phil Jagielka's Everton wages in order to sign him, but he would reportedly prefer a Sheffield United return.
Sources in South Yorkshire believe Jagielka, who made nearly 300 appearances for the Blades before his £4m move to Goodison Park, is willing to drop down from the Premier League to help his beloved first club.
However, Stoke boss Mark Hughes is also keen on the 34-year-old and has the budget to blow the Blades out of the water when it comes to a financial package for the player.
Stoke have offered Jagielka a similar deal to the one he is on at Everton, who this week completed the signing of Michael Keane from Burnley.
Keane is likely to be a regular starter for Ronald Koeman's men with Jagielka now assessing his options for next season.
