We really need a top keeper or someone who can be good with the potential to be a star.
It's noticeable how the midfield really protects the defence which I think has seriously helped our GA column but there needs to be an overhaul of the defenders this summer along with the keeper.
We need to add pace at the back as Holgate is the only quick player and with us hopefully dominating teams we need to play a high line.

never seen him play but i really want us to sign him, sounds and looks like he has a massive future, i'd love for us to sign him and it to be like when spurs bought bale from soton. 6 goals from open play for a 16 year old left back in a division as good as that is very impressive.

Davies comes in at 28 and Sessegnon at 26, in La Gazetta Dello Sports top 30 young players.
Great for Davies to get recognition and just shows how good Sessegnon is rated already.
He's called the new Ashley Cole and I think it would be a coup for us to sign him, I think it was @catcherintherye who said were after his brother steven.
Young stars should look at us and see they will get games, we should use this to snap up young talent like we did with lookman etc

totally agree with that last sentence, although on the other hand i start to wonder if we have too many good youngsters. We have a lot atm and what we need to decide in the summer is if we want to buy a few more and let them grow as a team, showing patience which will see them as a force in 3 or 4 years or do we go for prime players now.
I think we need 3 or 4 prime players for the first team right now, but with players like baines who only have a couple of years left in them, having a youthful enthusiastic backup who won't be chucked into the prem straight away, but can slowly ply their trade, so when those players in their prime years are coming towards their twilight, we have those youngsters coming through at a good age to really push them a few years down the line whilst also not negating success for the here and now.
Maybe sess is not the best example seeing as he'll still be a teenager in 3 years time ha, but some players just come through and are that special.
