What a time to be alive!!

If Moshiri turns out to be Johnson mk.II I'm giving up on football - that was the last time I was so optimistic from transfers.

Materazzi, Dacourt... then...

:(:(:(

Hes a very rich and successful businessman, he wont be done over by a failed spuddle business deal like old PJ was.

Lets hope hes the real deal.

Well this window, our name rings out, for sure, I mean not every window will be like this, but in the next few days we will sell a player for a World Record fee, thats the Lukaku money in they will say, no more spending from them they will say, then BOOM.

Everton 2k17.

Prepare to lose Barkley and sign 2 Championship defenders on deadline day then.

I think if we can push the teams above us & be competitive & also get far in the Europa then boss the start of summer 2018 with similar signings then one big big transfer might stick.
I don't mean an expensive good player but someone who is wanted by most big clubs.

Anyone else see Rom's instagram story about starting the medical and then saying it's complete? Guess it'll be confirmed tomorrow with Rooney's confirmed about the same time.

Well yes ideally we would get him. Apparently no one has bid and if he really wants to leave we should be all over it really

Certainly an upgrade on siggurdson. With the type of money they are quoting for Siggurdson almost worth going the extra mile. Especially if there is truth in the McCarthy interest

...Sunday Mornings rumour round-up;

- According to The Mirror, Everton are set to follow up the signing of Wayne Rooney with a deal for Swansea midfielder, Gylfi Sigurdsson. The newspaper claims the Toffees are set to seal a sensational return to Goodison for Rooney in the next 24 hours. Everton will then put the finishing touches to the signing of Sigurdsson after agreeing a £30m switch with Swansea. The player will earn £135k per week. The Mail say Everton will pay £32m for Sigurdsson.

- Romelu Lukaku has taken to Instagram to announce he has successfully completed his Manchester United medical. Sky Journalist, Kaveh Solekhol, reported that Chelsea had matched United's £75m bid at the eleventh hour but Lukaku is still on his way to Old Trafford.

- The Daily Mail say Everton's Gareth Barry is a target for West Brom. The Mirror suggests Burnley are also interested.

- The Daily Star reckon Everton are unlikely to haggle with Arsenal and will pay the asking price for Olivier Giroud.

- The Daily Mail also report Everton value James McCarthy at £25m ahead of interest from Leicester, Newcastle, West Brom and Crystal Palace.

- According to The Mirror, Leeds United, Hull City and Middlesborough are keen on Everton defender Matthew Pennington.
