I reckon Koeman wants him to stay ideally and at least get pre-season out of him.

But don't reckon he's going to get guaranteed football and if Besic performs well in pre-season/stays fit, and Barry stays, I think he'll want a move.

I honestly see a lot of our outgoings taking place later on in the window now. The big one was Lukaku.

Pre Achilles injury I would have had him.
He was excellent for Villa when he first joined. Any player who has had such a bad injury is a risk.

Having said that the plus side would be we would use him in a system unlike the RS. He always score past that shower and would be direct competition with Pogbas one true love for a world cup place.

Just have to trust the manager.

I reckon Koeman just wants him to stay to keep the medical staff employed and busy. Other than that I cant see the purpose of keeping an always injured player here who also doesnt have the brains to not train or play when injured, and who someone will amazingly pay 15 million+ for.

By the time they're "ready" to challenge all these players will be too old? Need replacing and then your back to square one

Build a young team not one that needs replacing as your constantly moving back on yourself

Hardly. You cant just buy only 22 year olds. And all we need is 2-3 years out of the likes of Rooney or Giroud. By the time 2 years have passed, Sandro will now have 2 years more experience and be ready to be our main striker. Its the way good teams put themselves together, to compete right now, but ALSO to set themselves up for years down the road.
