Well, we can get him over those injuries. He just has to help himself.
He played under 10 times last season which is bad, but, when he did play, he performed very well.
He was absolutely superb in the home derby before Christmas, and his injury completely ruined our game plan.
He also looked good when played further forward. His pressing makes him perfect for that role in Koeman's system.
But, with Klaassen, Schneiderlin, Gueye and Davies, he's at best fifth choice. If he's happy to be a rotation option, then I reckon he'll stay. I just don't think he will be happy with that, which is fair enough.

Wed be guaranteed to win either the league or a cup. I believe only 1 time in the past 11 seasons did his team fail to either win the league, or win Europa/Champions league. That was in 2011-2012, when Milan finished 2nd in the league and got knocked out of the Champions league by Barcelona in the quarter finals.

I wanted this link to be Walcott but he's out with the not English shout.
I'm not against Benteke he's not very mobile but he is useful enough to stop high pressing lines against us with his movement, he still keeps getting rotated for Belgium even by Martinez who we know wants to be Rom's dad, so he is showing something for a very good international team on a regular basis in training at the very least. The lad would have a point to prove to that lot as well.
I don't think he can outrun many defenders but he's strong enough to hold up the ball, he can score individual goals and finish set pieces and get in the end of crosses. I'm still not convincing myself even with these "plus" points.....one to ponder
