Summer Transfer Window 2017

It's a tough one to call. Form wise they are terrible (13th placed club from the last 6 games). But home form is holding up (6th in form table). They also have to play two games like Boro and Sunderland, which you'd have to say will be bankers given those two are as good as gone and cant score.

I just think they'll be cushioned by the extra two games in hand they have and home form plus Boro away will alone hand them 13/14 points that will nose them ahead of us.

Just going off what I've seen with my own eyes mate. Remind me of us last season and Chelsea first half last year, and Leicester under ranieri this year, players have just stopped, any team with a bit of fight will beat them now,

Does this apply to players who signed a pre contract agreement in January who have six months left on their contract as well. Plus players who are deemed surplus to requirements at their current club and cannot get a game, can't his agent be out there looking for another club?

No it doesn't apply to players whose contract is about to end. But that's not what we're talking about here. The idea that a deal could be done now for the likes of a Schmeichel or a Keane, when the parent club has everything to gain by waiting till the summer and inviting offers from other interested clubs, is absurd, and history tells us this isn't how transfers work.

In terms of budget.

We are likely to have circa £100m from the sales of Niasse, Cleverly and Lukaku.

I would like to think the budget would have been at least £50m without the sales so that would give us a budget in excess of £150m.

Spend it wisely Ronald.

Think you can add McCarthy Mori and Geri to the outgoing list

Simply put we need 8 new players in the summer.

4 first team 4 young players to integrate over the season so the squad as a whole grows stronger over 9 months.
