The first half of teh season Ross was tosh. Don't think anyone is denying that. But since he got his form back he has been assisting AOTS. So i disagree, especially as his all come from open play.

He's also supplying lukaku... I think both are decent... but he's not superior in every way which is what was said... for a start he hasn't got as many goals...

Exactly... ross had deffo turned a corner... but like I mentioned before... I was responding to a post that said ross is superior to gyifi in every way... I responded "apart from goals and assists"

I think Ross has more to his game in all honesty but yes, at the moment I'd say Gylfi is the better player.

I think the ideal - and planned - scenario is that we sign Gylfi and keep Ross.

Agreed... can never have to many good players... especially creative ones as they tend to blow hot and cold.. unless they cost 80m

Because he went to Spurs and failed.

Probably a bit of that. And that he doesn't always do it for Swansea too I think.

There's factors in both though. When he was at Spurs, it wasn't the Spurs we see now. And at Swansea he's surrounded by Angel Rangel types which isn't good for anyones health.

At the right price then maybe, but I can't help but think there's maybe a few better options for that role?

Hmmm.

You do know Poch was actually furious when he found out a deal had been agreed for the lad to go back to Swansea?

He was shoehorned in everywhere except his actual position.

But I suppose there could be a risk of him just been a 'big fish, small pond' type player.

I didn't say he wasn't a good player, and he is probably stronger for the experience. It's the same with Zaha. Looked rubbish at Man Utd and now Palace look like they're going to sell him for a fortune again!! Amazing by them. Buy him for £3m, sell him for £10m, buy him back for £3m, sell him for £20m. Maybe next season they'll buy him back again for £3m lol

yeah...silly figures getting quoted, i suspect it will be easier to get him for a decent price if swansea are relegated

I think Siggy would be a good fit for us. I've watched him this season and he's carrying that Swansea team. He's got great passes and shots for days.
