Holgate + keane is a solid CB pairing
hmmm.
Holgate hasn't impressed when he's played in a two. He's not physically up to it just yet IMO.
In a three, he's fine.

His name alone screams gash. Avoid and look elsewhere imo.

Stones had a boss slide tackle in him though. The argument could be, however, that we've never seen him in a two with someone as strong and imposing like Keane. He could be brought through how Stones was? He wasn't exactly physical.

Holgate Keane
Besic (sweeper)
????
Keane would be stretched there mate
I thinking for CBs Koeman may well go with what we have, if he can identify a LB that can cover CB to that's what we may see (Lescott type). We have 5 CBs already some maybe getting older but they can still do a job.Holgate + keane is a solid CB pairing

Yes I have no problem with us getting Cucu in to do a job, I also see a striker as important, but having Sandro and Rooney does Koeman? I was thinking Rooney may well play behind strikers/striker but getting Sigardsson in that probably wouldn't happen. But Im still hoping for a good striker I think we need more as there could be a lot of games this season.I heard that cucu can play RB and lb so can cover there. For me I would like a striker over a cb as priority.
I honestly don't think we have/willing to spend the sort of money required to make those bids in all honesty. Siggurdsson at £40-45 million is likely to be the most money we'll spend on a player - the elite players that will cost us £60-70 million I just can't see us being able to afford.
The shame in that is if we signed a Van Dijk or a Belloti is that players like Giroud then stand up and think "I want a bit of that" that's why Moshiri's biggest mistake has been not getting that statement signing in, who knows it might have even kept Rom for another year or so...
