Serri is a delightful player

A proper Barcelona-type playmaker with a lovely low centre of gravity and a great eye for a pass

He doesn't really fit the profile of player we need though. Plays deeper than the likes of Sigurdsson and we are well stocked at centre mid

He can play in the 3 with Gana & Schniederlin with Klaassen/Sig in front though?

Compared to peak Iniesta, Xavi and Busquets, it is. Ask any Barca fan and they will tell you they need to improve their midfield.

...I think he called it unsustainable, Mourinho has also voiced concerns. You have to think the bubble will burst and Everton need to be mindful of that but what a great time to be a player.

The bubble does have to burst at some point. Money going into transfers, and football in general just can't be sustained surely?! Like these billion pound deals for to rights etc, surely it can't keep on increasing by the billions every 2-3 years, that's got to be unsustainable. And same with transfer fees, when's it gonna stop? £40-50m plus is the new £20-30m!its ridiculous really. Great as a fan when your seeing your team spend big amounts and records broken but the ceiling will surely come crashing down at some point.

Klaassen has to play as one of the midfield 3 or, at worst, a number 10 (where he is less effective). You can't play him as one of the front three

Well yeh I said Klaassen in front as in the 10 which is his position normally.

We're not linked anymore with Seri I just like his playstyle.

Read between the lines mate, Koeman talks about Mori being out so there being a need to bring a defender in. I guess it's not gonna be someone to walk into the team ahead of Williams, he'll be looking for more cover at the back. I'd imagine he will be looking for another left sided defender that can play LB aswell. Bruno Martins-Indi maybe?!....

£90m? That's being optimistic mate! Haha. Sigurdsson will cost £50m or very close to it, Middlesbrough want for Gibson what we paid for Keane and Giroud could cost anything from £20-25m plus....

I would not rule that out. His move to Palace or Stoke has gone quiet for almost 2 weeks. Palace signed a defender from Ajax and Stoke loaned Zouma in the meantime. He will just take Funes Mori's place in the team.
