- According to the Daily Mirror, Everton are ramping up their search for a striker. They report this week could be make or break in respect of their chase for Olivier Giroud.
- The Daily Mail says West Ham's Winston Reid is the latest defender to be linked to Everton. The New Zealander recently extended his contract with the Hammers until 2021 but the Toffee's are considering a £9m bid.
- The Sunday Express suggests Ross Barkley is Pochettino's no1 summer target for Spurs and he could get the Everton midfielder for between £25m-£30m. The Mirror says Manchester City and Spurs are among 6 clubs interested in a cut-price deal for Barkley.
- Mirror reporter, John Richardson, says Watford manager Marco Silva is keen on Everton winger Aaron Lennon. Watford believe they can get the player for a relatively small fee because of his contract situation.
- 4th Official continue to link Everton and other clubs with Nice midfielder, Jean-Michael Seri. The same outlet suggest Burnley want Everton striker Oumar Niasse but Newcastle remain favourites to sign the player.
- According to The Mirror, Everton are hoping to finally clinch the signature of Gylfi Sigurdsson from Swansea. The Toffee's are ready to throw 19 year old Calum Connolly into the mix to close the deal.
